Flexibility and Stretch (Wednesdays 8:00-8:45 AM)
Flexibility promotes more consistent, efficient Power by: reducing unwanted compensations, maintaining posture, and a full unrestricted shoulder turn. How do we become more flexible? The simple answer is Gaining Power. Flexibility and Strength = Power.  As we age stretching becomes even more important for reducing injury. Stretching techniques help with the control and efficiency of movement.  We will be training the body’s core muscles to allow for more strength in stability. This class uses functional flexibility training and slow deep muscle stretching of the tendons and ligaments to gain strength through the muscles.
